Kirk is a homegrown champion for respect, honor and common sense in government. She wants to protect the American Dream of a better future for our children and families.

Kirk supports incentives to create jobs and get unemployed folks back to work.

Kirk is known for being responsive, keeping in touch and communicating with people… qualities District 2 residents deserve from their County Commissioner.

Kirk knows we must fund our needs before our wants. Providing services through cost effective cooperation between our School District, County, and City governments makes us a better community.

As a native Tallahassean, a volunteer, a board member and single mother of a child who wasn’t suppose to live, I have learned many skills which relate directly to public service:

I’ve learned to build partnerships where circumstances seemed insurmountable.

I’ve learned courage in the face of tremendous odds. Courage is not the absence of fear but moving forward in the face of it.

I’ve learned to be tough with an open heart and discerning ear.

I’ve learned you must do what you know is right –even when it’s not convenient or comfortable.

I bring real life experience through which polices, improvements, expenditures, regulations and quality of life issues can be vetted and considered.
